Terms & Conditions
By enrolling your child into any class or event run by Robertson Dance Academy (‘RDA’) you must accept the terms and conditions stated within this document;
(i) Subscription Payment - With the exception of Tiny Toes Dance classes, all weekly classes run by RDA are paid via monthly Class4Kids subscription payment. Your payment plan covers the cost of the class in the venue you have selected and is spread equally over 12 months of the year, therefore payments are still due during the holiday months where no lessons take place. Payments are taken on the 1st of every month from your credit/debit card. New customers who begin classes before making their first payment are subject to a covering payment. This will be prorated and added to your first monthly payment. This will also apply to existing customers if they change or add lessons to their existing plan. Multi-class discounts will be applied after you have you have set up your standard subscription plan for each child. Please note you will not be charged until the 1st of the following month when the discount will have been applied.
(ii) Termly Payment - Tiny Toes Toddler Dance classes are run independently from our subscription payment method. Payment is sent termly, split over 4 terms in the academic year. Payment is due by the first class of each term.
(iii) If your child decides not to continue with Robertson Dance Academy or wishes to make changes to existing classes you are required to give 1 months notice via email - hello@robertsondanceacademy.com. This means cancellations received on the 15th of the month will be cancelled the 15th of the following month. There will be one final subscription payment after the cancellation is made on the 1st, as this is within the 30 day policy. Students are welcome to attend for the duration of their notice period.
(iv) Refunds will not be given for unused classes, workshops or holiday camps.
(v) Spaces in RDA classes, workshops and holiday camps are limited and will be given on a first come, first serve basis.
(vi) Students must not attend any RDA class or event if they are ill. RDA reserves the right to refuse participation of any student that they deem unwell or unable to participate safely. RDA does not accept any liability for any infection/illness which may be transmitted during a class or event. Refunds are not provided for any missed classes, workshops or holiday camps due to illness unless in exceptional circumstances at the discretion of RDA.
(vii) RDA can no longer accept any payment by cheque.
(viii) Pupils are required to attend classes wearing the correct uniform and footwear as stated on the website.
(ix) RDA may take photography or videography during classes, workshops and holiday camps for use on social media and business marketing.
(x) RDA do not accept any responsibility for loss or damage to property left on the premises.
(xi) RDA will work towards optional BATD, RAD and Acrobatic Arts examinations in some classes. Pupils will only be entered when they have reached the required standard decided by staff. RDA has the right to withdraw any pupil from an examination at any stage.
(xii) RDA endeavor to ensure that children are dancing in a safe and comfortable environment. We ask you to bring and collect your child promptly and provide us with written details of changes in drop off/pick up arrangements, special medical needs, allergies etc. at the time of booking. It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to ensure up-to-date contact and medical information is provided via Class4Kids.
(xiii) RDA reserves the right to remove anyone from a class, without refund, who is in breach of our terms and conditions.
