The privacy and security of your information and data is of upmost importance to us at Robertson Dance Academy LTD (‘RDA’). We will not rent, sell, trade or share your data with any third party expect to comply with legal obligations, a court order, or to follow the instructions of a government authority. We take special care to protect and secure the information you share with us. Within this policy you will find the ways in which RDA collects and uses your information. This covers information that you may share offline and via our Class4kids registration process.

How does RDA collect my information?

When you register to take part in an RDA class, workshop or camp via our website, Class4Kids (our database provider) collects contact information such as participant’s name, date of birth, address, phone number, email address, parent/guardian name, emergency contact and medical information. It is the responsibility of the person registering the child/participant to provide accurate and maintain up-to-date information.

As part of the registration process, parents/guardians are required to grant permission for photography/videography which may to be used during any RDA class or event. If you do not wish your child to feature in photography/videography please inform us in writing to hello@robertsondanceacademy.com. Please also make sure your child is aware that they have not to be included in any aspect of their class, workshop, camp or event which is being photographed/filmed.

Who has access to my data/personal information?

RDA will only access personal information for the purposes of running the dance school. We will not share any of your personal data with third parties with the exception of legal proceedings or to comply with legal obligations, a court order, or following the instructions of a government authority.

What are your rights?

1. To ask for a copy or list of your personal information which we hold/process.
2. To ask for a correction of personal data or to have personal data erased (this excludes anything which we are required to keep by law).
3. To withdraw consent for RDA to use your personal data.
4. To withdraw consent for RDA to process your personal data as related to the running of the dance school business. This would be actioned immediately unless there was an overriding reason (by law) for RDA to continue processing your personal data.

Changes to our Privacy Policy

Robertson Dance Academy reserves the right to make changes to or modify this policy at any time.
